The Califia Moisturizing Spray combines Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Algae, and Pullan, making an excellent detangling and moisturizing spray for dry, thirsty hair. Algae and Pullan slow the moisture loss process for long-lasting softness, manageability, and moisturizing effects. It also helps minimize immediate shrinkage and breakage. The Califia Moisturizing Spray
- Algae Extract: This natural sugar contains anti-oxidants such as Vitamin C and B12, which is ideal for breakage protection; it works well for detangling and minimizing frizz by locking moisture in the hair shaft.
- Shea butter is rich in vitamins A and E. Shea butter soothes dryness, repairs breakage, and mends split ends.

I recently decided to try Komaza products after years of not using them. When I first tried these products I had no idea how to care for my hair and figured they just did not work in my hair. After learning my hair I decided to give them a try because I could not find products that didn’t contain coconut oil and moisturized my hair. I am so glad I gave this spray and some of the other products a try again. I really wish the Komaza line was sold in stores so they are easier to obtain. This company is great. My products came on time and unharmed. Please don’t change anything about the Califia line.

For 4C hair, this spray works wonders for moisturizing and detangling. I use along with the Califia leave in conditioner and Califia moisturizing cream. It’s definitely a keeper

Perfect for an extra boost of moisture. Sometimes I use alone or under the coconut hair milk. Highly effective and doesn’t leave my hair weighed down or greasy!! Perfection!!

I grabbed this spray early last year thanks to the review on Just Grow Already. This spray makes my new growth so soft it’s crazy. I’m always left with soft, moisturized hair with this spray. I’ve also found it to be good for detangling. The smell reminds me of maple syrup or butterscotch (which I don’t mind). I use it semi-heavily on my NG and demarc line then lightly on my ends. It hasn’t reacted badly with any cream, oil, butter, or serum I’ve layered over it. My only qualm (which is oddly also a benefit) is that it sprays in a stream instead of a mist. Good for targeting my new growth and demarc line only; bad for my ends (I usually have to spray it on my hands then apply to my ends).

I love this product! I have relaxed 4c hair. I use this product 2-5 times a week to moisturize my scalp. I also use it to moisturize my ends before sealing with grapeseed oil. I love that this product is not heavy and does not weigh your hair down. I (like Tangelia below) went five to six months without a relaxer, and my roots were real rough (to say the least). This stuff made it A LOT easier for me to style my hair. It also worked great when I had my sew in. I was able to keep my hair moisturized underneath, which is a MUST for 4c hair. I, personally, LOVE the scent, it smells like honeycomb. Love this product! You should definitely give it a try, if you haven’t already.

This stuff turned my 6 months-post coarse-as-hell 4C new growth into BUTTER! So soft and manageable! The ONLY downside is the smell… It smells like a combination of French Toast and cereal. I personally don’t like smelling like food. So, I will only be able to use this product at night. I hope they’ll change the smell one day… but, for now, it’s still definitely a keeper and I will be repurchasing.

I absolutely love this spray. I stretch my relaxers for 5-6 months and this moisturizes like a dream. My hair hates glycerin so i knew this might be worth a try. Please, Please don’t ever change the ingredients. LOVE THIS, will definitely spread the word!!!

The Califia Spray is the best moisture spritz I have encountered. Even better than my own concoctions. It’s a must use for uber moisture on a daily basis. It works excellent w/the Komaza Shea Lotion (light layer) and Jojoba Hemp to seal it all in.

This spray is AMAZING when diluted 1/2 and 1/2 some water! It makes my hair sooo moisturized and goes really well with a creamy moisturizer on top or just sealed with an oil. It smells amazing and is the best moisturizer I have found. The only minor issue I have is that the spray bottle it comes in makes it hard to distribute on the hair. Other than that, amazing!

It is a challenge keeping synthetic braids moisturized AND the hair underneath healthy. So imagine my surprise when Califia Moisturizing spray did just that! My braids were shiny and moisturized without being heavy and greasy. My braids actually look healthy so I can only imagine what my hair looks like.
There were some reviews about the smell but I like it. The spray smells like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. I had many people tell me that I smell delicious so kudos to this spray. The only downside is that it goes fast and the bottle is small. Regardless, I will definitely order again.
