If you struggle with detangling thick and coarse type 4 hair, you will not be disappointed from this purchase. I will definitely order the full size. Try the 2oz if you're not ready for the full size but it will help break down the tangles and time detangling. Great product! Will definitely purchase again especially for detangling.

I purchased Vitamin Reign due to the fabulous list of ingredients and thought how great the product would be for my hair while in box braids. It was. But, as I continued using the spray as a leave-in after my weekly wash, I noticed that my hair was growing like crazy! New growth galore. And my hair appeared much healthier and stronger than it did prior to using Vitamin Reign. This stuff is unbelievable.
I had no issues with scalp irritation - just had bouncy, healthy, beautiful relaxed hair. This product is a DEFINITE KEEPER!!

I really wanted to dislike this product. But, after my first use, my hair felt strengthened. To be fair, my hair is fine and loves protein so it's not uncommon to easily find protein treatments that work. But it's rare to find those that work on the first try and every time after that. You need to produce a larger size bottle. I would gladly purchase it.

It is a challenge keeping synthetic braids moisturized AND the hair underneath healthy. So imagine my surprise when Califia Moisturizing spray did just that! My braids were shiny and moisturized without being heavy and greasy. My braids actually look healthy so I can only imagine what my hair looks like.
There were some reviews about the smell but I like it. The spray smells like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. I had many people tell me that I smell delicious so kudos to this spray. The only downside is that it goes fast and the bottle is small. Regardless, I will definitely order again.

This product is still good compared to most. But as previously noted there is a difference in the quality of the product. I don't order nearly as much as before. For about 4 years I had to have this gel. Now I just order when ever I want the nice smell. It's sad when something so good changes to just okay.

I couldn't remember how long I have been using this product, but I started a hair journal in April of 2015 and I was using the Protein Strengthener then. I love this product. I was using it faithfully every 2 weeks. I had to really rinse thoroughly, then I came across the Olive Mask. These two work very well together for my hair. When I order, I try to get several bottles at a time because I don't want to be without. My hair has thickened up, grown and much stronger. When I go to the salon (maybe 2 to 3 times a year now), my hair stylists were amazed because nothing they ever did when I was going to them on a regular basis grew my hair to where it is now. I really had high hopes for this product but it has done absolutely nothing for my hair breakage. I understand that no protein treatment resolves all breakage instantly but you are supposed to see some results after the first use. I saw no results. I followed the directions to a T and after rinsing out my moisturizing deep conditioner, I had just as much breakage if not more. Either this product wasn't potent enough for my hair issue or maybe my hair doesn't like the combination of proteins in the formula. I wish I could get a refund on this stuff.

This is my second purchase of this product. I love it! I use it daily to refresh my hair, in conjunction with an oil to seal. it doesn't have glycerin, which is a plus for those of us who live in colder climates. Love this product. Perfect light spritz to moisturize your hair or can be used in place of water. Using plain water on my hair causes TONS of shrikage, so this is perfect for an everyday mist to refresh & prep my hair for the coconut curl milk (AH-MAZING!!) I'm not sure what was going on with my scalp but my hair was getting thin in the crown area, it was really sore and extremely itchy as well. In doing some research, I found that it could be due to inflammation but I'm not sure. Ever since using Anagen Elite, my scalp isn't as sore and the itching stopped. It's only been about 2 months. I'm hoping that with continued use, my hair will thicken in that same area and cure whatever is going on with that area. So far I love this product!!!

One thing that I noticed after 3 days of using the Shea Butter Lotion was that my 4a curls were more defined. I love the consistency of the lotion because it's not too heavy to weigh my hair down (knowing how heavy raw shea butter is in an ingredient can be) and neither was it too "watery" to work with. As far as moisture goes, it was very moisturizing and I wish I ordered the fuller size also. However, the scent is very mild and light compared to the Califia Moisture Spray that I also ordered.

This product is very moisturizing BUT I can't stand the scent. It is a strong perfume scent that gave me a headache. I just can't use it. It gets stronger when I exercise, have hot flashes. I smelled it all last night so much I had to get up and wash my hair. Even though I love the performance, I'm going to have to give or throw my sample away. Dude where do I begin? This product is pure gold! I have thick, coarse, 4c hair and was experiencing horrible hair breakage prior to using this product. Since using this product after my 4th big chop (about 6 months ago), I have had minimal to none hair breakage. When I do notice hair on my comb after a styling session, about 90% have the white bulb on the end signaling hair shed instead of hair breakage. I recommend this product hands down.

This conditioner is amazing! There weren't any reviews when I decided to give this conditioner a try. I took the chance and bought it and I don't regret it. I have thick, coarse, 4c hair and this conditioner works wonders on my hair in terms of detangling, moisturizing and has amazing slip. I usually use this conditioner after using Komaza's protein hair treatment and it works well to combat the drying/hardening effect of the protein. I recommend this conditioner over Komaza's olive oil moisture mask.

I would be remiss if I didn't leave a review for this awesome product! When I first bought this product I thought it was too heavy for my 3C/4A hair and I almost gave it away, but I later realized that Komaza hair care products work best when used alone or with their own line of products. Because other "store bought" products failed at providing the moisture my hair needed I had become accustomed to adding an additional oil, butter, or my own concoction in order to retain moisture. However, that is not needed with this product. Used on its own it provides great moisture, softness and my hair smells amazing! Not to mention, it leaves my hair with a healthy sheen and wave formation I've never seen before with other products. I get compliments on my hair all the time! My twistouts have so much definition that even after a few days and separating the twistout with my fingers my hair resembles a wash and go. I am sooo happy! Thank you Komaza for providing quality products that work amazing! I pray that The Lord continue to bless you!

It's like this conditioner was made specifically for my 4C hair. It's awesome as a detangler and as a moisturizer. It smells really amazing but I like the fact that once the conditioner dries it doesn't leave an overpowering scent on the hair. Also, this conditioner last for a long time. I usually can go 4 days to a week before my hair feels "dry" and I have to re-condition my hair. I use this product along with Califia moisturizing spray and Califia moisturizing cream.

I love this leave in conditioner! I have found it's best used for my hair type (3c)in drier, colder climates and I layer it under the Califia styling pudding. My hair is ultra soft and I get good clumping with my curls. I can usually go a week before I have to wash my hair again and use the Califia Moisturizing or Aloe My hair Moisturizing spray to re-wet my hair to get to stay soft and frizz free.

This item has been keeping my new growth healthy. I cut off my damaged ends and everyone compliments my hair as being very healthy. Before, my hair was brittle from root to tip. I have a sensitive scalp and am tenderheaded. I use this to gain immediate relief from itching (I have to wash my hair twice a week due to itching). However, I give this 4 stars because it provides only immediate and temporary relief. I'd have to apply this several times a day. I would also love if it was thicker. The consistency is like water which makes it easy to spread, but I'm just so used to oiling my scalp. I can't mix it in with my castor oil because oil and water-like substances do not mix well.

This Serum is everything to me, I love it and will always have it as a staple. I do get dandruff, irritated scalp and psoriasis. I tried everything I could find and nothing helped. The only thing that kept it under control was, washing my hair regularly, which took hours and hours due to the length of my hair and tangles. I decided to try this bad boy from Komaza and it has done wonders for my scalp. It clears my scalp, moisturizes and it stops the irritation. I can go for a month now, without washing my hair with no scalp issues. This is a crack in a bottle for me.....I just orders six bottles....YES, IS REALLY DEM GOOD... NOTE: The old version did not do much for my scalp. This new and improved version is really good and i hope it is here to stay....LOVE IT.

I love the way this keeps my scalp from being dry and irritated. The bottle is very hard to squeeze so I have to transfer it to my roots only color applicator bottle for easy deposit. This works really well in humid climates. I live between two countries so when I'm back for US humid summers, this is my staple! I use it under a leave in and then wash and go. I can get 5 good hair days with this just re-wetting an applying a little gel to any frizzy parts (which is minimal). Plus the smell is wonderful and I get a lot of compliments on my hair and the smell (which is subtle and not overpowering).

I had some leftover Califia pudding from its previous generation. After receiving this 2nd edition I realize it has more chemicals at the end of the listing than the original. The original was much more emollient and felt richer to the touch. This one is more "watery" and less dense. I used both this and the coconut pudding and liked both depending on the season. But now you've added water to the CP, which will create frizz in the summertime) and it doesn't have nearly the same moisturizing effect as before. I'm crushed these new formulas are not as good as the previous ones. I just pray you don't alter the Califia Moisturizing Creme in the future...

And I must say this first I have tried ever product under the sun and spent countless amounts of money trying to find products to get a defined, shiny wash and go and I had been unsuccessful up until this point. This pudding is the best I've tried since I've been on my natural hair journey. My curls were defined, soft, bouncy and shiny! And my shrinkage was less than normal. this product goes on a little sticky but the end results are great. I used this for a braid and curl with perm rods and my hair has hold and is set beautifully. I absolutely love this product. It's great for all of my styles. From wash and go's to twistouts to smoothing hair into updo's. To control the hairline, just wet hair and apply a scarf around it. In just a few minutes the hair is smooth and perfectly laid. It has a pleasant fragrance and can be used over stronger hold gels for softness. This is holy grail for my hair. Please don't change the formulation of this product. It works!!

My absolute favorite styling pudding for drier/damp colder climates!!!! My hair clumps really well when I apply it over the Califia leave in conditioner and my curls are very moisturized. I use it as a wash and go and I can get about 7 days of good looking hair before I have to wash again. Plus the smell is wonderful!!

I like the fact that this protein treatment is a cream instead of a liquid because I can better control how much goes into my hair and I don't have to worry about half of it ending up on my shoulders because it slips off. I have 4C hair and used to suffer with ridiculous amount of hair breakage. Since using this treatment twice a month along with the Pona hair and scalp treatment, I have experienced minimal to none hair breakage. I definitely recommend this product.

If I could give this product zero stars I would. I used this product as the label said before I could finish using this product in my hair it created a build up of knots in my hair to where i had to cut a big chuck of my hair out of my head in order to comb through it. it was so matted I would never recommend this product to anyone unless u want to lose all of your hair

have been a natural forever, but never really took good care of my hair until about 4 years ago when I learned all the basics about proper combing, washing, conditioning etc. I always thought naturals didn't need protein. But over the last four years my hair still never really flourished despite the proper grooming methods because my hair would break every time I touched it, even if I just was applying a moisturizer. I use all natural products so I wanted something that would work well, but also had natural ingredients. This protein treatment is wonderful. After using it the FIRST time I was able to touch/pull/manipulate my hair with no breakage. At all. A week has passed and I have a tiny bit of breakage, but nothing compared to what it was like before. Im talking about a few tiny pieces after combing etc compared to lots and lots of breakage from simply touching it. I'm going use this product weekly, then bi weekly until I notice no breakage during the week and then I will switch to every 4-6 weeks or really just use it when I feel the need. Personally it doesn't make my hair soft, but I don't think protein treatments are suppose to. All you have to do is apply a deep conditioner afterwards like its suggested with all protein treatments. I am definitely ordering more of this product, and will be checking out other products while I am on here. Oh and the shipping was lightening fast, which is a plus for me. I recommend this product.

Wow! I had the best hair week using this. This is just a terrific treatment. The only minus is this: I have a lot of hair that requires I shampoo/condition in sections, otherwise it's just a hassle. Upon application, I have to undo my sections and leave them free since it says not to agitate the hair. Which means upon rinsing, I have to re-section during the follow-up conditioner. But the results are well worth it. It just becomes an even longer process during hair wash day. But my coarse, wiry 4c hair loves and craves protein and this really delivers. A big fat rave.

At first when the consistency of this product changed from a liquid to a lotion,I must admit I was concerned. This product is now easier to use and I use less of it. I still end up with soft, strong hair so it will continue to be a keeper for me. I am doing a protein treatment with it as we speak and am sitting under the dryer. You also can't beat the price/quality of this product. It is a more natural less toxic alternative to Aphoghee 2 step and seems lovely too!!! :)

I have been using Komaza Hair Care products for about six or seven years and vitamin reign has ALWAYS been apart of my hair care regimen. I am a natural hair stylist and I strongly support the natural hair industry when it comes to products. Needless to say that just because a product claims to be natural does not mean it gets the job done but Komaza Hair Care has never disappointed me and I have tried almost every product they made, even many of the discontinued products they no longer make. The vitamin reign is a must for naturals. I use it daily to refresh my braids and to provide my hair with moisture and nutrients that it needs externally. This product smells amazing and keeps my hair healthy and well moisturized and I order this product as soon as my bottle gets halfway gone if I do not have another bottle of it lying around because I refuse to buy the stuff they sell in stores that are filled with a bunch of things I can't pronounce that simply do not cater to the health and integrity of my hair. I am so glad that Komaza has kept the vitamin reign spray on the market. I love love love it and I think it is an important staple product. Vitamin reign is a necessity for my hair like water is a necessity for me to live!!! I need it...........

I use this product as a moisture sealant after washing my hair. It's really thick and I would recommend diluting with water prior to applying to hair for easier spread. I use this along with Califia leave-in conditioner and Califia moisturizing spray with great results.

I received this in the 8oz size this passed weekend and I used it on Sunday along with the Califia leave in conditioner for a wash and go. And I must say this first I have tried ever product under the sun and spent countless amounts of money trying to find products to get a defined, shiny wash and go and I had been unsuccessful up until this point. This pudding is the best I've tried since I've been on my natural hair journey. My curls were defined, soft, bouncy and shiny! And my shrinkage was less than normal. I have dense,thick 4a/4b dry kinky hair, this product is outstanding! I have tried many many products but this is the best hair moisturizer I've used...ever. It's a keeper. It smells really yummy,gives my hair that long lasting moisture that i need,it works amazing as a leave in or a sealant, mixes well with other products, makes the hair soft, tames frizz, and has a really soft hold. I love it!! I recommend for those with thick kinky coily hair. It might be too heavy for the ladies with thin hair! The only flaw of this product is that there isn't enough in the jar.

I absolutely love the smell. It smells similar to a desert. I use this after washing my hair and applying the komaza leave in and shea lotion and seal with this product. The consistency is thick and suppose to be used after moisturizing so don't put this on before moisturizing. I use this instead of oil after washing because since I'm fully detangling that day, I want a heavier sealer. I have the sample and since I only use it once a week, it is lasting for a while. I am definitely going to get the full size when I'm almost done. I have been using this product for about 2 to 3 months. But I can't see myself using this as a daily sealer just because it is so heavy and will weigh my hair down between washes and that's when I turn to my grape seed oil for my daily sealing. But this product will be great for wearing a protective style and sealing with daily because you don't care about it being weighed down while your hair is put up!

This spray is AMAZING when diluted 1/2 and 1/2 some water! It makes my hair sooo moisturized and goes really well with a creamy moisturizer on top or just sealed with an oil. It smells amazing and is the best moisturizer I have found. The only minor issue I have is that the spray bottle it comes in makes it hard to distribute on the hair. Other than that, amazing!

I love this product! I have relaxed 4c hair. I use this product 2-5 times a week to moisturize my scalp. I also use it to moisturize my ends before sealing with grapeseed oil. I love that this product is not heavy and does not weigh your hair down. I (like Tangelia below) went five to six months without a relaxer, and my roots were real rough (to say the least). This stuff made it A LOT easier for me to style my hair. It also worked great when I had my sew in. I was able to keep my hair moisturized underneath, which is a MUST for 4c hair. I, personally, LOVE the scent, it smells like honeycomb. Love this product! You should definitely give it a try, if you haven't already.

I grabbed this spray early last year thanks to the review on Just Grow Already. This spray makes my new growth so soft it's crazy. I'm always left with soft, moisturized hair with this spray. I've also found it to be good for detangling. The smell reminds me of maple syrup or butterscotch (which I don't mind). I use it semi-heavily on my NG and demarc line then lightly on my ends. It hasn't reacted badly with any cream, oil, butter, or serum I've layered over it. My only qualm (which is oddly also a benefit) is that it sprays in a stream instead of a mist. Good for targeting my new growth and demarc line only; bad for my ends (I usually have to spray it on my hands then apply to my ends).

I recently decided to try Komaza products after years of not using them. When I first tried these products I had no idea how to care for my hair and figured they just did not work in my hair. After learning my hair I decided to give them a try because I could not find products that didn't contain coconut oil and moisturized my hair. I am so glad I gave this spray and some of the other products a try again. I really wish the Komaza line was sold in stores so they are easier to obtain. This company is great. My products came on time and unharmed. Please don't change anything about the Califia line.

This conditioner is not good. I think the formula has changed or something, because when I last used it in late 2013/early 2014, it was the best thing my hair ever experienced. I have used it twice since I received it in the mail, and it is having an awful effect on my hair. The one I used before gave me deep moisture and shine and helped define my curl pattern. This one is ruining my curl pattern. I purchased $85 dollars worth of products, including this conditioner, and I look like a chia pet right now. I am so deeply disappointed.

This is an amazing product! I was skeptical at first because of the reviews, but I am so glad I didn't let that deter me from purchasing it. I used this after using the protein strengthener. I applied a plastic cap and let it sit for 30-45mins. It left my hair so soft, easy to detangle, and strengthened with a clean fresh scent! I've learned that Komaza products work best as instructed and used alone, not combined with other store bought products that don't offer the same quality ingredients. I would highly recommend this product!

I really love this hair mask. After applying on my hair, I covered my hair with plastic cup and I sat under a hair dryer for about 20mins. It is nice, creamy and very easy to apply. It detangles well and has a lot of slip. Leaves hair really, really soft and moisturized. Komaza Care is my go to product line. This product is absolutely horrible. I was do hoping that it would be great but it made my hair feel dry and stripped even while it was still wet. Even my never fail go to detangler and conditioner was unable to lessen the effects of this overly dying product. As another reviewer mentioned before this product needs something with slip! It is loaded with good ingredients yet it just doesn't perform to the standards of other Komanza products. Although the culprit may be too much Aloe the inclusion of oils should have been enough to make this a winner but after just one use I'm ready to throw the jar out of the window. I certainly hope this product get reformulated or they make another DC that I can actually use. The 1 star rating was because it has a pleasant enough smell.

This is the best conditioner I ever have tried in my natural hair journey! Please do not modify anything about this product. It is perfect!! The smell wasn't all that great, don't get me wrong it's not a terrible smell either, but usually Komaza's products smell soooo good. Good thing I only ordered the sample. The conditioner was ok, didn't leave my hair extra soft or even dry but it wasn't something I would by a full size in. It was very blah to me! After 2 tries, this conditioner didn't leave my hair moisturized and has no slip at all. I'm a type 4A. The first time I sat under a warm dryer for 20-30 minutes and the second time I slept with it overnight only to wake up to the same result. Also, the fragrance is a little too perfumy and strong which makes me wonder if a high alcohol content is what makes it so drying for some people. This was my very first purchase from Komaza Hair Care so I'm willing to give this company another shot and purchase other products. I see that the Olive Moisture Mask has gotten the most unfavorable reviews than any other product. Sorry, I really wanted to like this product but it just left my hair feeling like straw.

Wanted to love this. I have never been disappointed with a komaza product. I've been a customer since 2008 & have tried many if the products & they have generally evolved to be better with each new range. However I was very disappointed with this "deep conditioner". I have type 4b/4a hair. I acv clarified, then cowashed, then applied the komaza protein treatment & followed up with this deep conditioner. I really wanted to love it. As it smells WONDERFUL! But it provided absolutely no slip & did not provide any lasting moisture to my hair. I used this product with hooded dryer (& plastic cap) for 20 min. Glad I only purchase sample size. A Deep conditioner should reap more lasting benefits :(..

This conditioner did not work on my hair. I was tired and left it on over night. When I rinsed it out my hair was not soft or moisturized.
